Why we must take the bread and wine in remembrance of Jesus Christ?

Zechariah 2:12 And the Lord will take possession of Judah as His inheritance in the Holy Land, and will again choose Jerusalem.

When I was reading these chapters from Zechariah I was amazed to know that God will inherit Judah’s possession. I wondered if all of the earth belongs to God, how is it that He will be inheriting something which is His own. God’s word is true and I wanted to know what this verse actually meant.
God in His great mercy revealed it through His word which astonished me on realizing the truth.

John 1:14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.

Now God’s Word which became flesh was without His actual glory which He had when with the Father in Heaven. It was made in the likeness of earthly flesh which needs nourishment to grow. The God's Word which became flesh was nourished with the blood of Mary.
Mary did not have union with Holy Spirit as some say. Her egg was not used. She was carrying the blood of David as her inheritance.

God blessed the seed of Abraham and the seed of David. What is a seed in the bible?

According to the Book of Genesis chapter 1, God created the heavens and the earth in six days and on the third day He created vegetation on the land which produced seeds. On the fifth day He created living creatures that moved in water and flew in the sky. Now God blessed them to be fruitful. But God did not bless them to bear seeds in them unlike the vegetation. And on the sixth day He created Man and Woman and blessed them to be fruitful.

When we see a seed we understand that it has life in it that is dormant. So God has kept the life of plant in its seed for next generation. The seed though equal to a dead thing is able to spring back to life after having right conditions around it.
Therefore when God is talking about the seed of Abraham or David it means something which is as good as dead but has life in it.

Leviticus 17:14 The life of every creature is in its blood. That is why I have said to the people of Israel, “You must never eat or drink blood, for the life of any creature is in its blood.” So whoever consumes blood will be cut off from the community.

Bible says life of any creature is in its blood. Therefore blood is the seed of all living creatures. Rest all things like sperm, ovum are not the seed.

Coming back to the point of focus that God will inherit the possessions of Judah we understand that He is going to take something which belong to only Judah and not God. God made Man in His likeness and gave authority over all of the earth. But because of man’s disobedience death came to man and all living creatures along with him. And earth was cursed because of his disobedience.

Also death is not common to God. He is the source of Life. If God must inherit something from Man it must be which has death in it. God does not have death in Him.

Blood of living creatures loses its life and dies because of the sin which acts through flesh.
The seed of David, the blood which is prone to death in humans was inherited by Jesus... but because He conquered over sin in the flesh and destroyed the one who has the power of death, His blood will neither be killed and nor will die.

Bible tells us in Romans 8:3 that Jesus condemned sin in the flesh.
The blood inherited from David that is in Jesus Christ's flesh can never be killed by the sin and now it has become the fountain of life forever.
Whoever takes this blood will also live like Jesus Christ if taken with belief.

The seed of Abraham and the seed of David like a mustard seed when sown in the flesh of God’s Word became a big tree in which many birds took shelter. We are the branches of that tree and we bear fruits.

John 6:35 Then Jesus declared, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.

That is the reason when we take the bread (flesh) of Christ, it is God's Word by which we live and also take the blood (wine) of Jesus Christ inherited from humans which cannot die in Christ which makes us men with immortal bodies. So we leave behind the bodies made of dust and take on the flesh of Word. We become children of God who live forever in the Kingdom of God having both the properties of God and Man.

I Thank Almighty God our Father for His great mercy through which He brought us Salvation and gave us the privilege to be adopted into His Kingdom as co-heirs of Lord Jesus Christ. I shall always take this true bread from heaven and wine from earth and thank always our Lord Jesus Christ for all that He has done for me and for the mankind.

In Jesus Holy Name,
Amen.

What qualified the sinner beside Jesus Christ on the cross to enter Heaven with Christ?

When we try to understand it is obviously the Love of Christ and our Father God that touched the heart of this sinner beside Jesus on the cross. God's grace helped this sinner to have his heart changed and to Love Christ and believe in all that Jesus said.

He is a great example of a person who humbles himself in front of God. This sinner is acknowledging his sins and is accepting his punishment and at the same time believing that Jesus is able to make it to Heaven because he knew Jesus was a righteous Man. This sinner is not just saying something out of his mouth. But he confessed that Jesus was righteous and that He did not do any sin. He was able to do this because he observed Jesus and His life. Now this man believed all that Jesus said and repented and asked Jesus to remember him in His Kingdom. Therefore this sinner also believed that Jesus was a King and Son of God, and because of his belief he was taken into Heaven.

We need to have faith in Christ and believe in all that He said and if we are able to keep it till our last hour and remain in Christ's love, God will surely bless us too in entering His Kingdom.

Believing in Christ and in all His words is a continuous process. He calls His disciples as little children and a little child is always supposed to take steps with the knowledge of their parents, or else they might hurt themselves.

This life on earth is a journey that we are taking to go to our eternal homes. We are walking along a road like a little child and the mind of the child is like I am able to take care of myself well and they leave the hands of the parent and run fast, unmindful of the dangers on the road which is full of snakes(Lies), scorpions(hatred), wild animals(greedy) and many such things. As a parent God is worried and wants His children to walk along with Him on this journey to our eternal home.

God has a car and if we do not walk and sit in His car on the road how will it be? Do not think we can ride that car. It is very high technology and we have not learned to drive it. It is better we let Him drive who knows how to drive. But what it means to sit in His car?

Sitting in His car means total control is in His hands and we are not taking any step, but are going forward in the direction that God is leading us into. I do not know what it means to sit in His car, but I would love to sit in His car and give Him full control on my life. I want to sit back and relax and have a peaceful journey.

But most of the time we are willing to walk and not sit in His car. That is ok, we are walking on our own feet, but let God take the directions.

Enoch walked with God and He was taken. Taken where? Obviously to Heaven where God is and it is Enoch's eternal home. Noah walked with God and so along the journey God helped him build an ark that God designed to help him and his family survive the great flood that God poured on the face of the earth to destroy the unruly world. God wants us to always depend on Him for our new steps in life, no matter how simple one it could be.

God once told me through the bible that He was going to bring a whirlwind on the wicked and whoever is on the side of the wicked will be punished along with them. God when He sees wicked people in our way to home will punish those who create problems to His child and the child must take shelter in God's cover and not run here and there to fall into another problem. When we keep ourselves attentive and listen to what God is saying, we are able to enter into His cover and be safe.

I learned from one of the episode of my life that when I will face such situations in life again, I need to run for God's cover and get safe. He is our Tower and Fortress and our refuge in the times of trouble. But, why am I running for cover? It is because I was not near God and so running. I learned that I need to run to Him, but I also learned that it was better if I never left Him and stayed close to my Father.

Jesus said problems will come in this world and no one is exceptional, but we have a place to hide and that is our great and awesome God, our Father Almighty and Jesus Christ our Savior in whom we take shelter.

This is our confidence and hope that we will reach our eternal home where our Father God, the Creator of this whole universe sits on His glorious throne with the help of our Father Jesus Christ who leads us in every step of this journey on earth, provided we follow Him and not lean on our own ways.

What it means to be fruitful in the sight of God?
How can a man be fruitful and how are they recognized?

Being fruitful in the sight of God is getting multiplied and becoming more in number in the Kingdom of God. A person contributing to the expansion of the Kingdom of God is a fruitful man of God.

Having the fruits that look similar to fruits of Spirit is not a fruit to Kingdom of Heaven. To bear fruits of Spirit one must be born of Spirit and have that Spirit which is in Christ flowing through the Holy Spirit into us.

Jesus says in John 15:5 “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.

Therefore whoever is bearing the fruits like that of Spirit (Galatians 5:22) love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control are not going to benefit the Kingdom of God on their own.

What we must understand here is that we should see things as God sees. There are many who are overflowing with love, joy, peace and other qualities of fruits of Spirit. They are making a big difference to this world, and they are unable to make any difference to the Kingdom of God.

Kingdom of God is the place where all these fruits of Spirit exist but combined with Humility towards God. Without humility all other qualities are unless to God. Just like body without life is dead, fruits without humility are dead. Because only humility is able to make a man come closer to God. No other quality brings a person closer to God but humbleness alone. True humbleness towards God will bear fruits of Spirit in us.

In the bible there are men who did many great things yet failed because they did not humble themselves before God. Some like Esau, Pharaoh, Saul, etc. have never humbled before God to make their lives worthy of God.

King Solomon the author of book of Ecclesiastes in Bible composed the most profound books of wisdom and knowledge. This book has influenced many great leaders of the world and also helped many to lead simple yet successful lives. King Solomon ruled his kingdom with wisdom and great knowledge and he was praised by many for it. Many admired his great skills for solving difficult problems and the kingdom flourished during his reign.

Book of Ecclesiastes was concluded by the verses “fear God and keep His commandments, for this is man’s all. For God will bring every work into judgement, including every secret thing, whether good or bad.”

Fearing God will help us to seek Him and His will. And keeping the commandments will help us from committing sin. Every work that is done by seeking our own will, will come into God’s judgement.

When Solomon was given a boon to receive anything that he wanted from God, he asked wisdom and knowledge to rule God’s people. He was really good man and wanted to give others the best he could. So God gave him riches and honors along with his wish though he did not ask for it. It was a topping on an Ice cream.

Wisdom teaches to have a peaceful and happy life by living in harmony. Through it we are able to maintain good relationship with the world. Many kings with their wisdom and knowledge won the great battles and conquered the world.

Solomon who is the wisest and the most knowledgeable person on earth was very much into maintaining good relationships with his wives, so he followed his wives and worship idols. He was unable to overcome the temptations using his wisdom and knowledge. His body was unable to match with his wisdom and knowledge and so he yielded to the temptations.

He started following suits of others. When the Satan tempted him, his wisdom and knowledge did not give him victory over sin. He did sin in the sight of God by doing things that were displeasing to God. He did the most abominable thing in the sight of God by worshiping idols and giving sacrifices to them.

Why did God allow Solomon to become a sinner at the end of his life? His works are a treasure to this world, but he failed in the sight of God. God wants to show to the world through king Solomon’s life that without God life will be a failed one.

Jesus in Matthew 6:28-30 talks about the lilies that grow in the fields and compares king Solomon for not being dressed in all splendors as one of these flowers.
Jesus is further saying that when God is able to cloth the lilies of the fields which are today and tomorrow thrown into fire, how much more God would cloth His children.
Clearly these verses are suggesting that king Solomon was unable to cloth himself like one of these flowers which God has clothed.

Jesus is trying to tell us that we must allow God to cloth us and not our wisdom or knowledge. Jesus is talking about the cloths of the Kingdom of Heaven. If we make into His Kingdom we will be having the riches of House of God.
God is able to cloth the flowers of the field more beautifully than men of this world who cloth themselves.

What if king Solomon asked the presence of Lord God in his council so that he could depend on the wisdom and knowledge of God at the same time have all success in his life through God and also be clothed by God. No evil would have come near to him. His wife would have been a God fearing woman who gave him fellowship in worshiping God. God would have protected him from falling into temptations and overcome it by the power of God. But Solomon died as a sinner… a fruitless life to be thrown in fire. So scary is in it!

This is what happens when we do not know what to ask. The knowledge of seeking God and humbling oneself in the presence of God are the heavenly wisdom. These are not found in the wisdom and knowledge required for this world. We find in the life of Moses when he asked God to give him the faith required by him to do God’s will.

Matthew 6:33 But seek first His Kingdom and His righteousness and all these things will be given to you as well.

Kingdom of Heaven is Son of Man, Jesus Christ.

John 15:1-2 “I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit.

Therefore God is always working in us if we have Jesus in our lives.

Jesus Christ through His Holy Spirit will teach each one of us according to our abilities, strengths and weaknesses to have the heavenly wisdom and knowledge to bear much fruit for the Kingdom of God.

Meditating on the teachings of Christ will give more wisdom and knowledge required for bearing fruits for His kingdom. Holy Spirit that flows in us which Father God gives to each one in Christ will help us to overcome temptations and live fruitful lives.

When we humble ourselves and request God for anything in the name of Lord Jesus Christ, God is able to grant that wish which is according to His will.

Matthew 7:11 so if you sinful people know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more your heavenly Father give good gifts to those who ask Him.

Through Holy Spirit we receive power and so we must pray God to give us Holy Spirit. He will give us His Holy Spirit which will bear much fruits in us. As long as we humble ourselves before God and ask Him, we receive.
Because we are utterly dependent on Holy Spirit and not our own will leads us into greater peace, followed by joy, love, mercy and more of the fruits of Spirit that are for the Kingdom of Heaven.

God wants us to bear fruits because He will use the seeds of our fruit to be sown in others hearts. If our fruits are not used to sow seeds into others’ hearts then we become useless. But God will not lose that person who is seeking God and humbling himself, God will take away that person into His Kingdom.

Therefore we become fruitful to God by humbling ourselves before God and depend on Him for each step of our lives and live according to His will and not our will. God will exalt the one who exalts Him. He will glorify him who glorifies Him. He will bless him who blesses Him.

If you exalt yourself God will humble you.
Humble yourself and God will exalt you.

In Jesus Holy Name
Amen.

Holy Bible Chapter Luke 16:1-13

In this parable there are four characters, namely the Rich man, Steward, Debtors and the Mammon. These characters can be related to God as Rich man, Minister of God as Steward, Unbelievers as Debtors and Satan as Unrighteous Mammon.
And there are some other people in that house of the rich man who have complained that the steward was wasting the goods of his master’s house.

Now this Steward was wasting the goods of the rich man. And wasting of goods by him is not about the inability of the man but that he was being unfaithful in performing his duties. And this was brought to the notice of his master. The master asked to give an explanation about this to the steward but, since the accusation was a true one, he did not try to give an account of his wrong doing, thereby accepting the accusation to be as true. He very much knew that he cannot win favor back or fool his master with his tricks any more.

This made him to explore other possibilities to survive when after he is thrown out of the stewardship. As a part of exploration he sees himself begging and he obviously did not want to do that. Then he sees himself hiding his face deep inside the mud out of shame for he did not find anyone to support him and rather ridiculed for his actions, and this he did not want to happen at any cost. Then he hatches a plan to woo the debtors, because they are not the friends of the rich man. And at the same time can do favor to him if he helps them.

When he approached the debtors, they welcomed him and acted according to his plans to change the original bills of debts with the false values. These debtors who were till then only poor, but were not the lawbreakers became part takers of sin with the steward, and both the steward and the debtors combined together to cheat the rich man. They are selfish. Steward and debtors alike are unfaithful to the rich man. Nobody wants their unfaithful deeds to come to light, so they conceal it and maintain friendship to keep it concealed.

This is how the world is living. Rich and poor alike are combining together to make an unlawful deeds contrary to the truth by having an agreement among them and to support each other in order to survive in this world as they are.

Coming back to the parable. The master is observing the steward do all these and he commended steward for his far-seeing and act of intelligence. Though the master applauds the steward, he does not retain him in the stewardship.
Why is it like that?

Let us try to understand this by reading Luke 16:10-12
Jesus says,
“He who is faithful in what is least is faithful also in much; and he who is unjust in what is least is unjust also in much. Therefore if you have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches? And if you have not been faithful in what is another man’s, who will give you what is your own?”

In this parable the steward is placed in a highly respected position. He has the authority over all of the matters concerning the rich man's house. He lacks nothing. Everything is provided by the house for his comfortable living. Inspite of all the good life that he is enjoying in the rich man's house, he is not doing his duties with the same sincerity. He is relaxing himself too much to let the goods be wasted.

Now when the master asked the steward to show his work, he kept quiet and did something that showed the kind of a person he was. The steward took the help of the finances to make friends for himself outside the house. Money was of least value to the rich man, but he had even bigger things which were of more valuable and important. Therefore the master was convinced beyond doubt that the steward was in fact being unfaithful to him. After finding what the steward did, the master though he applauds him for his shrewdness did not retain him due to his unfaithfulness.

The steward is very intelligent and also well-educated to attain such a position and is worthy of having such an office, but due to his unfaithfulness he was thrown out that position.

That is the reason Jesus compares the faithfulness to the saltiness of a person. If there is no saltiness in the grains of the salt, what benefit is that going to give the food? Same is a person who is not having faithfulness in him. He is not going to benefit anyone and especially to the Kingdom of God.

We know that money has a greater power in providing comforts to people in this world. But it is the least valued in the kingdom of God. And it is also a litmus paper to test the faithfulness of the servants of God.

Jesus through this parable is telling that if one is not faithful in the matters of money, then it is sure that the person will fail in other matters as well. Even Iscariot Judah for the sake of 30 shekels of money handed over Jesus to the Roman soldiers and he failed to continue in Jesus Christ's ministry of Good News.

If we really want to know how much our faith is, we need to introspect ourselves; we need to look at our finance management. Our dealings should be always fair and just when it comes to MONEY.

Suppose a shopkeeper might return more than required balance to a buyer and the shopkeeper is unaware of it. What will a faithful buyer do? He will definitely return the extra amount to the shopkeeper. Whereas an unfaithful man will silently move away as though he did not notice it. There can be many more examples given to illustrate different kinds of unfaithful acts regarding money. Children cheating parents, rich exploiting the poor, bribery, robbery, unwanted expenditure on lavish life styles, etc. can be regarded as unfaithful acts in handling money that is given by God for our needs and to share our things with the needy.

Everybody is being tested. Even the poor are tested by God in matters of money. No poor man is supposed to take that extra balance given by the shopkeeper mistakenly. And the shopkeeper is always welcome to give that extra money willingly to help the poor. There is so much of happiness in doing good than doing what is bad.

And if a penny is found in our pockets that is not ours, let us give away four folds to the one we cheated so that we may receive salvation.

Luke 19:8-9 Then Zacchaeus stood and said to the Lord, ‘Look, Lord, I give half of my goods to the poor; and if I have taken anything from anyone by false accusation, I restore fourfold.” And Jesus said to him, “Today salvation has come to this house, because he also is a son of Abraham;

Therefore if we recognize our sins and repent and do the act of faith in Lord Jesus Christ, we will be saved and become a son of Abraham in accordance to faith to be able to claim the promises of God given to Abraham.

Let us keep our hands open towards Heaven so that we might receive more. And when we receive, let us use it for our needs and for the poor and after that save it wisely for the benefit of all, so that we might have open hands to receive again from God.

Prayer:
Blessed be the Name of the Almighty God and Lord Jesus Christ.
Dear God Almighty and our Lord Jesus Christ Please give us the discerning minds so that we do not remain unfaithful and that we might repent and receive Salvation today.
In Jesus Holy name we pray.
Amen.

How can we be sure of God’s Salvation and what is the proof of it that we have received it?

Romans 10:9-10 If declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.

To all those who believe in Christ as their savior, they have the Salvation through Christ. This is a great provision that God Almighty has provided to all those who believe in His Son Jesus Christ because none of our works are counted other than believing in heart and confessing with our mouth that Jesus is Lord and that God has raised Jesus Christ from the dead that are taken into account when we are being justified and are saved.

But after being justified and saved we need to see the changes in our life. The life within us will change as a consequence of our salvation. This is our great God who will help us to change from within us. First of all we will come out of that debased minds (Romans 1:18-32) that we were having before we had the salvation.

When we are out of this debased mind, our eyes will be opened and we will be able to see those things within us that are good and bad. We can understand that how our own actions are hurting us more than anyone else.

Luke 11:35-36 Be careful, then that the light within you is not darkness. So if your body is full of light, and no part of it in darkness, you will be radiant, as though a lamp were shining on you.

Once we start looking within our self with the light that God had shone on us, we will be able to remove all that is not correct and make room for other good things to be placed in their places. We will be able to replace Hatred with Love, Fear with Courage and Boldness, Selfishness with Generosity, Wickedness with Morality, Proudness with Humility, Prayerlessness with Prayerfulness, Disobedience to Parents with Obedience to Parents, etc. These all changes within us will bring great Peace of Mind that will elevate our being. We will feel more loved and cared for our own self and know the Love of God, and how much He loves us. This is the beginning of our good works through faith in Christ that we start doing good to ourselves first and then do good to our neighbors. After we know how much God loves us, we will be filled with awe and cry and weep and repent and seek His forgiveness. When we are forgiven, His Peace rests on us.

Jesus said “Love your neighbor as yourself” meaning we must be able to love ourselves first and then love others that much. When we will love ourselves more, we will be able to love others more as well. When we truly love ourselves, we will clean ourselves inside out.

Jesus Christ says to Pharisees in Luke 11:39 “Now you Pharisees make the outside of cup and dish clean, but your inward part is full of greed and wickedness.

It is very much important for each one of us as Children of God to know which are unclean and bad for us. Our Holy Bible is full of verses that teach us how to live a life of Righteousness. Reading and meditating on the Word of God will definitely help us identify the grey areas of our life and the Holy Spirit will help and guide us in cleaning those areas by shining the Light of God. New Testament Bible is a great help to know about Righteousness and Unrighteousness. The Spirit of God has been poured unto the great men of God and they were able to pen it down so that we might receive His grace in abundance.

And when we are clean from within, God is willing to pour His Spirit unto us also and use us as His vessels. Now when one is filled with His Holy Spirit he is ready to do greater things and bring glory to God.

These are the works of faith, the Good Works in us that we do when filled with Holy Spirit and it always brings glory to God and our Lord Jesus Christ. It is not we but He who is in us working these Good Works. Through His wisdom and understanding we are able to do good and bring peace into the lives of the needy. Good works will always bring peace to us and our surroundings. This peace is given by God and our Lord Jesus Christ. This Peace is the proof of the Salvation we received.
Praise be to our God and Lord Jesus Christ.

Amen.

Jesus Christ died for all of the mankind’s sins that do not lead to death.

1 John 5:17 All unrighteousness is sin, and there is sin not leading to death.

This is grace that we have in Jesus Christ that our sins are not leading us unto death and that Jesus Christ has saved us from the outcome of our sins.

God’s grace is that we will have the peace of mind in all situations and that we will have Eternal life.

John 14:27 Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

We must ask to our self whether we have received or not this peace that Jesus gave.
When we look at the everyday News and read about the wars between different countries, it has become a common thing and it is like most of us are least bothered about it and are living a selfish life. It is a pity that humans have become so insensitive to the world around them. No one is bothered about his or her neighbor, and is so self-occupied that he or she is always pursuing after their own dreams. Most of us are at ease in the world but they are heading to a very dangerous place. Nobody knows when a bomb will be landing on their heads. People who are watching are in constant fear about the developments in the world politics.

Why is restlessness increasing in the world on everyday bases? Is anybody really bothered to know the root cause of all the chaos in the world? There are people, who are trying their best to bring peace in the world, but they are still not able to do that and the world is heading for a major crisis.

What will be the end of this world? Who is going to stop the world from being destroyed completely along with human race?

Is this the result of man's actions or something else? Are there any other forces that are controlling the world? What if this is the result of man's actions and if so, which of the actions have led to such a result?

As I am trying to look for the answers for all these questions and more, I find that the world is heading to a life that is full of suffering.

But there is a section of society that will be not under suffering but under the grace of God.

Most of the Christians believe that grace is freely available and so everyone is under the grace no matter what they are doing. But this is a misconception and it is better for every Christian to know that Christ grace is free but not cheap. I mean to have His grace we must be righteous in sight of God. Our works are not going to make us righteous but our faith in God is accounted as righteousness.

Let me just show from the Holy Bible the root causes of this growing unrest in the world.

And how we can be not one among those not under the grace of God.

John 16:9 Of Sin, because they do not believe in Me;

John 8:24 Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for if you do not believe that I am He, you will die in your sins.

This sin is the one which leads unto death and is committed by rejecting the truth spoken by Holy Spirit through His Word that is Holy Bible or through the word of His disciples who are filled with Holy Spirit.

When we do not believe in Christ, we are not going to have the promises of God in our life. This is because all things were created through Him, by Him and to Him. So the promises of God have come through Him only.

There are blessings and cursings and we can access them through righteousness and unrighteousness respectively.

Now all unrighteousness is sin. And there is not one righteous man other than Jesus Christ who is righteous and has fulfilled the law.

So to not be counted among the unrighteous in the sight of God, Jesus pleads on behalf of those who believes in Him. His blood covers our sins and we are washed by His blood to become righteous in the sight of God. This grace that we are able to access through faith in Christ is free and is precious one.

From the verses John 16:9 and John 8:24 it is understood that the grace is not available to each and every one without prerequisite. To support this, we have the verse Romans 5:2.

Romans 5:2. Through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

Grace is freely available, but it’s not available to everyone but to those who believe in Christ. It is freely available to all those who believe in Christ and they access by faith into His grace. We need not do anything but have faith in Him to be in His grace.

To explain this more clearly I would like to give an example of how some people have tried to climb Mount Everest and have lost their lives from lack of air they can breathe. Is not air freely available? Yes it is, but it has a place in the atmosphere set by God and people have to stay in that zone of atmosphere to breath freely.

James 2:17 thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.)

Therefore whoever wants grace must have faith and a faith that has works. Meaning we need to have such works to our credit in which we are able to show the love of Christ.

Now whoever is not under this grace is under the Law and there is punishment to all those who are under the Law, whether its Moses Law, or the Law written on hearts for Jews and Gentiles respectively.

Romans Chapters 1-5 are very clear in explaining it.

Romans 1:18-32

(Romans 1: 18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness,
19 because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them. 20 For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse,)

This verse clearly states that we are able to see the wrath of God revealed by the things that God does in these peoples who are as in according to verse 18, and they are suppressing the truth. So when truth is being told to us, we need to open our minds and hearts and receive it instead of suppressing it.

(Romans 1: 28-32 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting; being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness; they are whisperers, backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful; who knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them.)

Therefore now in this generation it is God’s wrath shown in the form and is understood when God gives them debased minds. So we must know that in this world God is taking control of all things and is punishing (with debased minds) those who reject Him. Many people reject God in their hearts and only praise Him with their lips. Those who say I am a Christian are not Christians in heart but outwardly only. Paul says circumcision is of heart and not physical circumcision that God sees.

Therefore all Christians must understand that when Jesus said believe in me, means we must believe in Him and do as He commanded and as the Word says.

(John 14:12 most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.)

Jesus is saying this because when He goes to the father He sends the Holy Spirit. And a Holy Spirit filled person will always do the will of the Father.

Jesus also says in (John 14:15 If you love Me, keep my commandments.)

Thus we have to keep His commandments to show our love for Christ and then only we will have both the Father and Son come to us (John 14:23).

This is grace that we have them in our live. Without Christ there is no grace in our life.

In simple. Belief in Christ => Love in Christ => Faith in Christ => Grace in Christ.

Romans 8:1 says those who are in Christ are not condemned. And also says walks according to Spirit and not according to flesh.

So those who are not in Christ are under condemnation and they walk according to flesh.

We see in many churches that the women who come to church do not cover their heads. It is the hardening of their hearts towards the Word that God has given. They are also approaching the table like that. Women are supposed to cover their heads as a submission to God. Those women who are not covering can go for a haircut similar to man as told in the 1 Corinthians 11.

In 1 Corinthians 11:13 the Bible says, is it proper for a woman to pray to God with her head uncovered?

So the statement is clear about not being proper and is not fitting for a godly woman to have her head uncovered in the presence of the Lord.

We often speak and discuss about Christ being head of Man, Man being head of Woman and Head of Christ is God. But have we read (1 Corinthians 11:10 For this reason the woman ought to have a symbol of authority on her head, because of the angels.)

What is this because of the angels? As I try to understand this verse, it seems that when angels come to punish the ungodly, this symbol of authority will be a symbol which will let the angel pass over the woman who has covered her head to honor her master.

And the verse which says,( 1 Cor 11:16 But if anyone seems to be contentious, we have no such custom, nor do the churches of God.)

And verse (Romans 1:28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting.)

It is very scary to find that very little of us are without this debased mind in the world. Almost everyone but few are in their right minds. So when this world is filled with debased minds that think themselves to be wise but are foolish hearted cannot be heading to a peaceful world.

Finally if we truly want our small world that is our home to be filled with Peace from God, we need to acknowledge God in our knowledge and give Him His due place in our hearts, so that God might give us the stable minds to have a happy Family and Home.

Prayer:

Dear God Almighty and our Lord Jesus Christ thank You for the Word that You have given us. May your light shine on our lives and give us the understand to believe and obey You and to follow Your commandments. May Your peace be upon us. We thank You for who you are. All glory to You alone.

In Jesus name we pray.
Amen.

Muslims say Jesus is not the seed of David because He is not having any earthly father. But see how the Word of God is perfectly showing us the truth. Jesus Christ is the seed of David to know that you need to read the Bible and understand it very carefully. Eve was made directly from Adam and she does have all the elements that Adam had. Adam had X and Y chromosomes. X and Y are the written codes of God for our body to function. Eve was having doubled the X chromosome. So X from Eve and Y from Adam produced same as Adam. So where is the difference between Adam and his sons? We know that Y chromosome is the one that determines a girl or a boy. But a man has X chromosome also which is passed on to his daughter. So which seed is God talking about?

A seed is something which has life in it. The purpose of a seed is that it has life in it and will generate a new plant that can produce more seeds of its own kind. But X and Y chromosomes do not have life in it. The one thing that God relates life is with blood. Leviticus 17:14 says “because the life of every creature is its blood. That is why I have said to the Israelites, ‘you must not eat the blood of any creature, because the life of every creature is its blood; anyone who eats its blood must be cutoff.’”. We humans have blood groups also. Generally we talk about the kind of blood flowing in one’s body to relate them with their ancestors. So why cannot it be blood line of David and not X or Y of him that is passed on to his children. Both male and female can carry the blood line of a man. When Jesus said I am Son of Man, and we know from the scriptures that Jesus is born of a Virgin, How is it that He is saying that He is Son of Man? It is because we humans look down upon woman but not God because He has made woman out from Man and so she is also a man. Jesus is Son of God and Son of Man as well. But Jesus says God is Spirit and when the Word of God became flesh in Mary's womb, blood and water from Virgin Mary was used to nourish the embryo in the womb. “In 1 John 5:6 this is the one who came by water and blood- Jesus Christ. He did not come by water alone, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit who testifies, because the Spirit is the truth.” So Jesus has taken the water and blood from Mary. Mary being the descendent of David is in the blood line of Jesus Christ. Why is Mary’s husband Joseph also shown in the blood line of David is because as Eve was from Adam and had all in common with Him, so is Mary having all in common with Joseph. Matthews 19:4-5 And He answered and said “have you not read that he who created them from the beginning made them male and female and said ‘for this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.

So the Bible is clear about showing the blood line of both Joseph and Mary to be descendants of David and fulfilling the law of God from the beginning.

Hence from Bible we are able to see that Jesus is the seed (blood) of David as He is having in Him the blood that was flowing in David.

1 Samuel 15:22 But Samuel replied
“Does the Lord delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices as much as in obeying the voice of the Lord?
To obey is better than sacrifice, and to heed is better than the fat of rams.
For rebellion is like the sin of divination, and arrogance like the evil of idolatry.
Because you have rejected the word of the LORD, he has rejected you as king.
These are the words that Prophet Samuel spoke to king Saul after he defeated the Amalekites and he and his army took hold of Agag, the king of Amalekites and the best of the cattle alive. The command from the Lord was to completely destroy the Amalekites along with all that belonged to them. Instead of that king Saul caught king Agag and did not kill him, and his army too spared the best of sheep and cattle, the fat calves and lambs and everything that was good to be sacrificed to God.
But Samuel says it is better to obey than to Sacrifice. We must acknowledge that the sacrifices to God are to show our repentance and turning back from our disobedience and to follow God whole heartedly.  So obedience is always better than sacrifices, because if there was no disobedience there would be no sacrifices.
If Saul had done exactly the way God told him to do, there was no requirement of any sin offering.
From the life of king Saul we see that he was small in his own eyes when God chose him as a king over Israel. He was a humble man and spared the life of those who did not want him to be king. Saul brought Israel many victories from the time he reigned as king over it. He did all that was told by Samuel and followed the commandments of God. Though Saul was a humble man and gave importance to his fellow Israelites, he did not always depend on the word of God. He made decisions of his own. He made own decisions because he was impatient man. He feared God, but not to the extent that he could control the Israelites from sinning against God. His heart was more for the people than God. He worried about the people. So he did all that which people think to be right. He did things that pleased people and not God. He also made decision quickly without seeking the will of God to answer the people who were becoming restless due to long waiting. And finally he also committed sin by not following the command from God to destroy the Amalekites completely. He thought that God would act in the same way He has be doing all the while, forgiving their sins and showing mercy.
Yes, I suppose it would have been like that if Saul repented and sought the forgiveness from the Lord and sincerely prayed to God to show His great mercy that He has been showing all the time. But instead of repenting to God, Saul asked Samuel to forgive his sins. He did not talk to God himself because he did not know God on his own. He knew God is great and He is the one who makes decisions. But what he did not know is that to connect with God and ask God to show mercy and seek His forgiveness for his foolish acts.
When Saul came to know through Samuel that he was acting foolishly and committing sin, little did he know that God has already found a man after his own heart! Saul was arrogant and confident that he will remain king even after doing all that he has been doing. But what happened? God made David king of Israel in a very splendid manner. King David always repented and sought mercy from God. Though king David committed sin in the eyes of the Lord, he immediately repented as soon as he realized the sin.
To obey God is to do His will. When we are not doing His will, we are not obeying Him and are sinning against Him. It is very important to seek the will of God and when we know the will of God, we need to wait upon the Lord. We need to wait upon the Lord because God has set a time for everything. When God choses and places us according to His purpose, He will definitely want us to obey Him and do all that He wants to do through us. This will only bring good in our lives. But sometimes we do things that please others and not God. Pleasing others always bring praise and goodwill in the society. To be called a gentle and humble man we might ignore to rebuke the one who is doing wrong. But when God is not with us, all will be gone slowly and our glory will be given to someone else. That is how God is working. If the will of God is that we lay our lives to save others, we have to lay it down to have it. For Jesus say in Matthew 16:25 For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will find it.
Which is more precious than the life in this world? For Jesus says in Matthew 16:26 What good will it be for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their souls? Or what can anyone give in exchange for their soul?
Jesus came to show us what obedience can bring for us. He gave away the riches of this world when offered by Satan, but gained all the heavens and the earth and He took back His life and lives eternally after laying down His life for the sake of this world that He loved so much and all this He did by being obedient to His Father God. Now everything belongs to Jesus Christ and when the end of the age comes, Jesus will destroy all that is bad.
Let us be obedient to God and do His will and seek His blessings and be victories in our life.

God Bless You !
Amen.

Try to Be Like Christ to be called a Christian

1 John 2:6 the one who says he abides in Him ought himself to walk in the same manner as He walked.

Most of the young Christians are ignorant about what it means to be a Christian. We might be reading Bible, going to church and praying and not know the essence of being a true Christian. It is important for every Christian to understand that the aim of a Christian must be to follow Christ and to be like Him. If our thoughts and actions are not according to the teachings and commands of Jesus Christ, we are losing a lot of good things in life. He is the perfect example of a truly successful man on earth. No man is as rich as Christ and no man has risen from the dead like Christ and no man possessed the highest office like that of Christ. He owns the whole universe, the Heavens and the earth and He is the High Priest for God Almighty. All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Him by Almighty Father.
He says to set your eyes on heavenly things that are permanent and not on the worldly things that will pass away. Many of us are living lives according to our own understandings of good and bad. We judge things according to the society we live in. But that is not what God wants us to be like. He wants us to follow Him and be truly successful. World around us is failed because of its sins.

The importance of solved papers we all know. We score well if we study the already solved papers. And Jesus is the solved paper for our life’s examination. Jesus has answers to all the day to day puzzles and He successfully helps us to overcome those problems, there by triumphing over our adversaries. If we live according to His teachings, He promises us His Peace. He gives it not as this world gives. This world will never give us a permanent peace but, He will give that which cannot be taken away by anyone. When we let His will be in our lives, He takes care of all that we have. He says when the earthly parents who are not as rich in love and mercy as God is, are able to provide their children with good things, then how much more will the Heavenly Father bless His children who love Him and follow Him.

Being obedient to God is the only way to please Him. Jesus showed obedience to God His Father in everything. Even to the point of death He showed obedience, so that through His act of obedience produce the fruits and fruits eternal. He could take back His life after taking the keys of death from the hands of the deceiver.
And also being obedient to God will make us become righteous in the sight of God, we can live the holy lives that He is expecting us to live and bear fruits that are by the Spirit. Our love for God is shown in our actions, in our obedience to His will. When our will becomes the will of God, then we truly love Him and seek Him. Do not doubt His will, because He is faithful, the most faithful. His will in our lives will produce fruits that are going to give happiness to both the Father and the Child.

I would like to give one of the many examples from the life of Jesus Christ when He was in this world. It is that He never obeyed or did that which Satan told Him to do. Satan tempted Him for food, riches of this world and at one point the Satan even asks Jesus to jump off from a high point so that the angles might save Him from hitting the rocks below. But our Lord Jesus Christ knew that by doing so He will be testing the Almighty Father. We will test if we are to make sure about something. Jesus Christ knew His Father and He knew how much the Father loved Him. Sometimes in our lives too will face such situations after knowing God’s will. After we have stepped according to God’s will, we will encounter the problems that might test our faith in Him. Satan will certainly play with our minds to make us do things that fail us. But we need to know that just trusting God and being with Him is the most important one. Remember how Jesus was attended by the angles after the Satan, the tempter left. We are here to be tested and not God tested by us. Please do not confuse yourselves with the testing to know the will of God in the 1st place. We can ask God to show us His will by asking Him to do certain things so as to indicate that we are in the right path of understanding His will.
If we are focused on the life of our Lord Jesus Christ, He will certainly help us to become better day by day in life and give us peace, health, wealth, success and His Kingdom and the right to become His children.
May God bless you!

Prayer: Dear Father in heaven we thank you for your word and seek your will in our lives. We pray to you to teach us your ways and lead us in your light. Strengthen our faith in you and give us the heart of obedience towards you so that we may have lives that you have shaped.
To dear God our Father and Jesus Christ our savior be all thanks and all praise and all glory forever and ever.  Amen.

Friday, 8 January 2016

We must follow a person who knows where he is going... We all know that we will be allowed into Heaven only if we are able to please God Almighty.
God is not unkind to His creation...
though man has fallen from his glory, God choose to come down into this world to rescue His children from death. Death is the result of sin. Sin is disobeying God and all of us have sinned atleast once in life time. Is there any man who did not even sin in his thoughts?? Jesus says in Matthews 5:28 about sin committed in heart by a man of lustful eyes. What does it mean? God is very holy and Jesus is saying that not only deeds are counted but even our thoughts are counted in the sight of God. Then which man is worthy to say he is sinless and is righteous enough to be let into Heaven? Again our good deeds cannot out weight the bad ones, as we do not know what the measuring scales of good and bad are! For example we think murder is greater sin than a lie, but a lie might break a relationship, a confidence, a hope, a home and is the root cause to many problems and can lead to murder also.

God who is so carefully watching us, the one who is going to judge all of us according to our deeds is a merciful God and is God the Father. He relates Himself to us as our Father because He created us in His own image and so He loves us and considers as His own children. Which father sees his child fall into a pit and does not try to pull him up? So will not the source of all love come to man’s aid and redeem him from the bondage of sin? He will and He has already come to our aid. But if we do not give out hand to our father, how can he pull us out of the pit? So we must believe that God is the one who is going to bring us out of the pit of death which is very deep. Jesus Christ said I have brought the Good News and the good news to a dying man is life itself…
Jesus Christ came to give the free gift of salvation… we need to just take the gift of salvation by putting faith in Christ by believing that He paid for the wages of all our sins on the cross and that He is the Son of God , God in human form.
The wages of sin is death. There is no big or small sin. All sins are sins! Death here is not the bodily death but the death of souls in the way of eternal punishment. God does not want His children to die like that. So He came down and died in our place… All of mankind’s righteousness is not equivalent to God’s righteous. So He came down by taking on the likeness of a man and was called Son of Man, because there the inseparable union of God and Man happened and Jesus Christ is His name. Now God’s union with Man is holy and not like that of man and woman… So Jesus Christ was able to bear all our sins and die in our place… But God raised Him from the dead on the third day and He was made Lord over all of the Heaven and earth.
Jesus said He is going to His Father, who is in Heaven. Now Jesus knew where He was going and proved His disciples that whatever He said was true and He raised from the dead after three days as He has told them already before being crucified.
So follow Jesus and go where He is now or follow them who do not now where they are going!! Its all in ur will… the ‘will’ God has given you and me, the “free will”.
